The Andover Town Centre Partnership are organising, supporting and getting involved with a wide range of events taking place throughout the year in the High Street.
2nd March Town Tidy Day 10am-11am
Organised by the ATCP and supported by TVBC’s Environmental Services this successful annual event is now in its third year. Come along and join the team of volunteer litter pickers in their efforts to spring clean the town centre.
29th April A-Fest
Andover’s High Street will be rocking to the sounds of the town’s best bands and singers. The family-friendly event with live music, fairground rides, climbing wall and activities starts at 2.00pm through to 5.15pm on Sunday 29th April.
11th May Andover Business Fair @ The Lights
This is a great opportunity to find out all about the local businesses on your doorstep. There’s everything from electricians and business management to dance schools and photography.
24th June Andover Gardening Fair
A brand new event launched by the ATCP for 2018 aimed at all those green fingered locals looking for some inspiration for their garden. Plant stalls, flowers, equipment and advice from expert horticulturalists and local nurseries.
22nd July Andover Cycling Festival
Excitement is building for the cycling festival where participants will be able to take place in a 15-mile family fun ride or a 62-mile challenge around the Test Valley. The routes will start and finish in the High Street and will precede a fast and thrilling closed-road race for elite cyclists in the afternoon.
15th July Andover Carnival
Carnival Day 2018 will be on Sunday 15th July at our usual venue, Vigo Recreation Ground, a fun-packed day from 12 noon until 9p.m. This year we will have a larger stage and we will be searching for local artists and groups to perform a variety of acts. To ensure the whole family can have a great time there will be fairground rides/stalls, along with arts and crafts, charity stalls, a beer tent and a wide variety of food and drinks stalls.
12 August Shilling Fair
Launched by Andover Town Council in 2017 this event celebrates Andover’s cultural heritage and takes visitors back in time to experience its Georgian era.
August Four Fun Fridays
Come along and join in the family centred fun organised by The Lights on the High Street each Friday this August.
23rd September Andover Festival of Motoring
Now in its fourth year the Festival of Motoring is the ATCP’s flagship event attracting over 5,000 local motoring enthusiasts each year.
16 November Christmas Lights Switch On
Make a date in your diary now so that you don’t miss out on the party! The Big TV screen will once again grace the High Street, Father Christmas will be stopping by on the night, and the stage will play host to a range of local performers.
3rd Sunday of every month Andover Artisan Markets
A monthly market from March to December with a variety of unique and locally sourced stalls including food, crafts, jewellery, gifts and more
